Kat Lee

Acting Concentration, Class of ’28

Hiya! I’m Kat, and I’m overjoyed to be in the  MFA Acting class of 2028! I’m an actor and storyteller from Columbus, OH, where I got my BFA in Musical Theatre at Otterbein University. From there, I’ve gone on to perform at The Denver Center for Performing Arts, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Lyric Repertory Theatre, and 7 contracts at the Utah Shakespeare Festival (most recently as Celia in their production of As You Like It and a Weird Sister in Macbeth). I love to think of life in terms of “brilliant things” (inspired by one of my favorite roles, The Narrator in Every Brilliant Thing). Some of my brilliant things include: laughing through tears, dogs, snacks, fantasy books, sushi, and cozy nights in. Maybe the most brilliant thing is the kindness and warmth this community has shown my classmates and me as we begin our journey here at UTK. Thank you, and Let’s Play!
