Gabrielle Fernandes

Acting Concentration, Class of ’28

Gabrielle Fernandes is a first-year MFA Acting candidate at UTK/CBT. She was born and raised in Connecticut and has spent the last three years working professionaly in Los Angeles where she earned her first TV/Film credits on the Lifetime Movie Network (Revenge for My Mother, Haunted by My Stalker). Before moving to Los Angeles Gabrielle was working primaily on stage. Some credits include: Katherine (Taming of the Shrew), Anne (The East), Hero (Much Ado About Nothing), Jeanne (Daughters with Daggers).

In addition to acting Gabrielle is a fight/movement choreographer. As a former athlete she loves getting to blend storytelling and athleticisim. She recently choreographed an adaptation of Peter Pan titled: The Tale of Neverland. She is ceritifed in Rapier/Dagger with the SAFD. 

Gabrielle is excited to be here in Knoxville to learn and work alongside talented professionals and her new peers!
