Theatre Department Ranked 13th in World By The Hollywood Reporter

If COVID-19 sounded the death knell for theater and production, it didn’t manage to snuff out acting schools, many of which were quick to adapt (Zoom-based writing collaborations! Radio plays!) to the changing landscape. With the light now at the end of the proverbial tunnel, those schools are deftly mapping out the path back into the classroom. (Columbia is even throwing in a free year.) What the pandemic year has proven is that the appetite for content — and the actors necessary to bring it to life — has never been stronger.
