2020 MFA in Theatre, Acting Concentration
You may recognize Brenda Orellana from last year’s production of A Christmas Carol playing the sweet Martha Cratchit. Originally from Los Angeles California, Brenda is a first year MFA Acting candidate at UT. Brenda holds her B.A. in Theatre Acting and Performance from California State University, Long Beach. Her theatre credits include: “W” in Lungs, “Vera/Evil Tina” in She Kills Monsters, “Flamingo” in Bird In The Hand, “Jo” in Boom! (California Repertory Theatre), “Ruth/Mrs. Trotsky” in All In the Timing (The Sherry Theatre in Hollywood) , “Carol/Lilian” in Museum, “Diana/Lucille” in The American Clock and “Mrs Squires” in The Music Man (Citrus Little Theatre). Her devised work includes In The Telling, Over the Midnight Moon (Cal Rep) and Romeo and Juliet Zombie High (The Sierra Madre Playhouse) . She’d like to thank her family, her partner and her mentors for their unending support and to all the Knoxville Community for coming to support the theatre arts.
