Marissa Raby, BA 2013

Since complete into my BA in theatre at UT, I spent the following summer in Colchester, Vermont working at Saint Michael’s Playhouse as one of their two stage management interns.  I built the set for the third show, Rumors.  I was the stage manager for The Trip to Bountiful with Kate Buckley as the director. Continuing my stay at the CBT, I was the assistant stage manager for Spamalot. Then to  American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI as a stage management apprentice for their entire season, I worked on American Buffalo Doctor’s Dilemma, sat in on rehearsals for The Year of Magical Thinking, Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Seagull. Then I worked at First Stage in Milwaukee WI, as the assistant stage manager, at The Skylight Music Theatre as the assistant stage manager on Once On This Island and The Snow Dragon. I returned to APT this summer and was promoted to assistant stage manager working on A Streetcar Named Desire, Edward Albee’s Seascape and The Game of Love and Chance. This winter I will return to First Stage to stage manage All’s Well That End’s Well and I am also returning to APT for my third summer in 2016.
