CBT Public Costume Auction

Thursday, October 15 on the Clarence Brown Theatre Stage

Preview and registration begin at 8:30 am; Bidding begins at 10:00 am

Approximately 185 lots of Theatrical Costumes, Vintage Clothing, Accessories and Fabrics.

Costumes are suitable for productions and special events including: Shakespeare, Guy and Dolls (complete set of Hot Box Girls), Into the Woods, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Honky Tonk Angels, The Who’s Tommy, Terra Nova, Big River (tar and feather suit), A Christmas Carol, fantasy,
Medieval and Renaissance reenactments, square dance, walk-around characters, masks. Huge assortment of vintage clothing, furs, shoes and hats. Several vintage bridal gowns. Large variety of remnant fabrics.

Costume lots consist of between one and 20 costume pieces. Some may choose to bid as a group for a lot.

Payment methods are:
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Money Order, Cashiers Check.

Personal and corporate checks accepted with a Bank letter of credit or UT employee ID. All sales are final and all items must be paid for on the day of auction. Purchased items cannot be picked up until the auction has concluded. You may also pick up your purchases by appointment for up to one week after the auction.

Inspection: Wednesday, October 14 – 1:00-4:00
Thursday, October 15 – 8:30-10:00
