Thomas A. Cervone

Mr. Cervone (Managing Director) is currently celebrating his 21st season with the CBT and the Department of Theatre at UTK, 16th as its principal administrator. And, when time permits, teaches in the undergraduate acting curriculum. Tom also serves as the liaison with local, regional, national, and international theatre organizations. He has and continues to serve on numerous committees for the University of Tennessee: the Employee Labor Relations Board, the Chancellor's Advisory Council, serves as Chair for the Exempt Staff Council, sits on the CBT Advisory Board, the Board of Directors for the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Knoxville, as well as the Executive and Negotiating committees for the League of Resident Theatres (LORT). Tom received his undergraduate degree in Speech and English Education with an emphasis in Theatre from West Liberty State College in West Virginia. He received his MFA degree from UTK, and will complete the Professional MBA program at the University of Tennessee in December, 2010. Tom has been elected and is honored to be a member of Leadership Knoxville, Class of 2011.
