MFA in Acting

The MFA Acting Program at UT recruits actors every year, but actually brings a new class to campus in the Fall of odd-numbered years. The next class will enter in Fall 2013. Recruitment for this class will be in in 2012 and early 2013. Online applications for admission will be available in Fall 2012. Auditions will take place in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Knoxville.

The MFA in Acting is a three-year conservatory training. We will invite eight actors to enter the MFA program in the 2013-14 academic year. All students receive a full tuition waiver, a yearly stipend of approximately $9,000.00, and funds for study-travel in the U.S. and abroad.
